A new concept in biorevitalisation with triple action

The skin undergoes changes over time. To prevent premature ageing, injections of non cross-linked hyaluronic acid compensate for the natural loss of this substance while providing many other benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is TKN HA 3?

TKN HA3 is a long-lasting high molecular weight non cross-linked hyaluronic acid biorevitalising mesotherapy. Thanks to HYAsep® technology, it obtains a larger molecule that degrades much more slowly and therefore has a longer-lasting effect. The amount of water retained is greater, thus providing more plumpness. Same molecular weight as that found naturally in the dermis: 3,000 kDa.

Is TKN HA 3 vegan?

Hyaluronic acid is vegan as it is derived from plant extracts or artificially synthesized. Having said this, Profhilo will have been tested on animals at some point, as this is a legal requirement.

Where can be treated using TKN HA 3?

TKN HA3 can be used on all areas of the face, except for under the eyes and on any part of the body that requires biorevitalisation, except the breasts. TKN HA3 can treat various indications, including; loss of tone, skin ageing and premature skin ageing, skin dryness, solar elastosis, acne scarring, sun damage, and fine lines and wrinkles. Its a great targeted treatment for smokers lines and younger clients who want to prevent lines and wrinkle.

How is TKN HA 3 different to fillers?

While both use the same component, they work very differently. Dermal filler is injected to enhance a specific area such as the lips and cheeks, and it does not typically migrate to the surrounding skin. In this way, it augments your natural facial structure to produce more angular cheekbones or plumper lips. TKN HA3 works very differently because it is made of 100% hyaluronic acid, while dermal fillers have other components. Because it is made of a completely natural skin substance, it blends into our skin seamlessly and distributes itself evenly. The treatment helps to retain moisture levels in the skin while boosting the production of collagen and elastin, essential skin proteins, to refresh the skin from the inside-out.

Are there any side effects to TKN HA 3?

Mild swelling and bruising are the most common potential side effects immediately following treatment. Consultations are an important part of the treatment process in allowing you to understand the treatment and to establish if the benefits of the treatment are outweighed by any possible side effects. During a consultation, your characteristics, such as your area of concern and your medical status, will be assessed. Your therapist will discuss any possible side effects, questions you may have and any aftercare you should adhere to prior to you having treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

You will have 3 sessions each one month apart. You can see a marked improvement as the treatments progress, but the entire course of 3 must be completed for the area to get the intended results. This can then be maintained repeating this cycle every 6 months.

How long does TKN HA 3 last?

As with most treatments, this can vary depending on where you have treated, your lifestyle and your metabolic rate; these factors usually influence the longevity of your results. For example, in our experience, those who smoke or frequently do cardio work-outs can break-down hyaluronic acid faster than those who do not. The guidelines are to have maintenance treatments four to seven months after your full treatment.

How much does TKN HA 3 cost?

I tailor make our treatments to suit your aims, objectives, and personal characteristics. At your Free Consultation we will discuss a payment plan convenient for you. To give you an idea of price: £180 per treatment, £480 for a course of 3 (£160 per treatment).

What should I expect having my treatment?

This treatment is not painful to have done but some may find it a little stingy. If preferred, local anaesthetic cream can be applied to numb the areas where treatment will be carried out. The treatment is given via mesotherapy, consists of several very small injections and the downtime after this treatment is very minimal. Generally, the treatment is given over 3 sessions at 7-10 days apart which is necessary to optimise results. These can be planned at the time of booking. A review appointment is offered at 8 weeks after the last treatment. Results can last for about 6 months but this can vary from person to person, it is therefore recommended in order to maintain a great result, to have further treatments in 6 months. It may be possible to have just 1-2 treatments at this time. Immediately following treatment, you may experience symptoms of stinging, discomfort, slight swelling and erythema (redness) which should disappear after a few hours. You may experience some bruising; these should resolve soon.
